Date: July 1-3 , 2023 Private, closed, in-person group weekend in the Jeffersonville, IN area. Religious abuse support This event is designed to help those who have experienced religious abuse establish a solid foundation for healing and rebuilding. Program outline: 1. Allowing Grief: The Losses Suffered 2. Science of Trauma: The Why to the What 3. Triggers: Being Patient with Yourself 4. Boundaries: A New Way of Life 5. Authentic Self: Finding Your Design 6. Trusting Again: The Possibility of Relationships 7. : Identifying Healthy Community: The Seemingly Impossible Times: July 1 - 10-11:30 AM EST / 4-5:30 PM EST / 7-8:30 PM EST July 2 - 10-11:30 AM EST / 1-2:30 PM EST / 7-8:30 PM EST July 3 - 7-8:30 PM EST (Virtual available for anyone traveling) Credentialed facilitator: The facilitator of "Rebuilding [After Religious Abuse]" is credentialed, meaning she has extensive experience (professional and lived) and training in helping those who have experienced religious abuse. This has been prioritized in order to offer you the most well-rounded support possible. Tools and education: This course provides access to tools and education that are necessary in rebuilding one's life after religious abuse, provided by a credentialed facilitator, in an in-person setting. Group support: Understanding and empathy from peers can be an incredibly valuable resource. In a supportive setting, you can share your experiences and learn from one another, affirming the truth that you indeed are not alone in your struggles and suffering. The encouragement that comes from solidarity can be an incredible asset and one we are thankful to offer through this support group.
