Service Description

Introducing the Women’s Drop-In Support Group, a community that provides peer-to-peer support, a qualified professional, and a safe environment for women who have experienced religious harm or are supporting others who have experienced these abuses of power. Here you’ll find a safe place for you to share your experiences with others who understand what you're going through, as you can continue to heal together. In addition, you'll have access to a qualified professional who will facilitate, while also offering support and guidance. And, since this group is for women only, you can most comfortably come ready to discuss anything weighing on your mind, heart, and soul. Why the Women’s Drop-In Group? The Women’s Drop-In Support Group is a flexible and affordable way to get the support you need from peers and a qualified professional. The group meets weekly for about 75 minutes via video conference. You can join the group from anywhere in the world with a computer and internet connection. There is no long commitment either. You can come to as many or as few sessions as you like–just click “book now.” What will a session look like? The focus of each session will be to come alongside you, allowing you the opportunity to share and to receive from the stories of others, as well as to offer practical tools to help you heal from religious harm. The topics covered will be decided by the group each week based on what is most needed that day by the individuals in attendance. Each group commits to follow beEmboldened’s Group Ethics Agreement to promote healthy conversation and active listening. For more information, please contact us at hello@beemboldened.com with "Group Ethics Agreement" in the subject line. What's included: - A place to share your story with others who understand your context - Expert facilitation from a licensed professional to help you navigate your journey - Tools and resources for healing and prevention of revictimization If you're ready to take the first (or next!) step on your journey to healing, join us for a Women’s Drop-In Support Group session. We already feel honored to meet you and privileged to be part of this next chapter in your story.
